AFGE members work together to hold management accountable and to make sure your voice is heard.

The Southwest Council (SWC) is governed by the AFGE National Joint Council under AFGE National. The SWC executive board is listed on the leadership page. The SWC is comprised of locals covering Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. Each of those locals has officers and stewards as listed and posted in each headquarter plant with their phone numbers. See the contact page for a list of local presidents.

The Southwest Council supports each local in its jurisdiction providing guidance, training and communication ensuring all members are fully protected and represented under the Labor-Management Agreement.
